NOTICE OF RECOMMENDATION TO REMOVE A BUILDING FROM BALTIMORE CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS’ BUILDINGS PORTOFLIO At a public meeting on January 8, 2019, the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners (“Board”) received a recommendation to return the St. Helena building to the City of Baltimore (“surplus”) in 2019. The St. Helena building, located at 6509 Colgate Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21222, does not house a school program and is not used for educational purposes, and the Baltimore City Public School System does not require it for future educational use. The Board anticipates voting on this recommendation at its public meeting on February 12, 2019. The Board will accept written comment or data from the public regarding this recommendation until 5:00 p.m. on February 8, 2019. For postal mail, comments should be addressed to Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners, 200 E. North Avenue, Room 406, Baltimore MD 21202; for email, send to portfoliorecommendations@bcps.k12.md.us.
