BALTIMORE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BUREAU OF UTILITIES ENGINEERING AND REGULATION DIVISION NOTIFICATION OF PRETREATMENT VIOLATORS The Baltimore County Pretreatment Program regulates the discharge of industrial wastewater to the public sanitary sewer system. The purpose of the program is to protect the wastewater treatment plant’s biological processes and the quality of its sludge and effluent, to protect the conveyance system and to protect the health and safety of its workers and the citizens of Baltimore County. Federal law governing the program and Section 20-5-126 (c) of the Baltimore County Code require that the names of those users who significantly violate pretreatment regulations and/or standards be published annually. During the period January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 the companies listed below significantly violated Baltimore County pretreatment standards or requirements or had a pattern of non-compliance. COMPANIES THAT FAILED TO COMPLY WITH NATIONAL PRETREATMENT STANDARDS: Pier-Sol Inc., 8800 Kelso Drive Suite M-O, Baltimore, Maryland 21221 Violation of chromium, copper and nickel categorical standards.
